Welcome to LinguaPlay. By installing or using the LinguaPlay Chrome extension or visiting getlinguaplay.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

LinguaPlay is operated by Numeal LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. References to "LinguaPlay", "we", "us", or "our" refer to Numeal LLC.

2. What LinguaPlay does

LinguaPlay is a Chrome browser extension that uses AI to transcribe and translate video content you choose to watch. Translations are saved to your account so you can rewatch videos without re-translating them.

You need a Google account to use LinguaPlay. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use LinguaPlay. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Plans and billing

LinguaPlay offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Power). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Your translation minutes reset 30 days from your signup date, not on the 1st of each calendar month.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

6. Translation minutes

Translation minutes are consumed when you translate a video for the first time. Rewatching a previously translated video does not consume additional minutes. Unused minutes do not roll over to the next billing period. Minutes consumed during a failed or incomplete translation may be partially refunded at our discretion.

7. Content and copyright

LinguaPlay translates video content at your direction. We do not host, store, or distribute video content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and translate the content you choose. We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid copyright notices.

Translated subtitles generated by LinguaPlay are derived from your use of the service and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Translation quality depends on AI models and may vary. We are not liable for translation errors, missed subtitles, or service interruptions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days notice and refund any unused prepaid subscription time.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

LinguaPlay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, accurate, or meet your specific needs. Use of LinguaPlay is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Numeal LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of LinguaPlay. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on getlinguaplay.com. Continued use of LinguaPlay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
